Back Home!!!
Hey!!
On Thursday I went to a 3day trip to Lumut/Pangkor with my lifelong friends the Wong family, and I just came back. =)
I've been really buzy doing other things lately so I won't be posting stuff about my Japan trip anytime soon, sorry!
Day 1 (Lumut):
On our way to Lumut, we decided to stop by Kellie's Castle since we've never been there before. It's an unfinished castle and it's actually quite pretty. There's a story behind it too, and it went something like this:
Once upon a time, there was this man who loved his wife so much he decided to build a castle for her. He named it Kellie, after his wife. But disaster struck and his wife died suddenly, the man was too heart broken about his wife's passing and abandoned the project, he died soon after his wife.
Total bullshit, of chourse.
The actual -not so fairytale- story went like this:
A man named William Kellie Smith built a castle for his family to live in. Smith came to Malaysia(Malaya) from Scotland. He owned many plantations and became very rich. He married a woman named Agnes and had two children, Helen and Anthony. When it was only Agnes, Helen and himself, Smith was set on building a mansion, but expanded to project when Anthony was born. However, halfway though the project, Smith died of a disease (not his wife). His wife was to heartbroken to continue the project so she sold the land and moved back to Scotland.
In case you were wondering about how I knew so much about the place, it was in the brochure. =)
So anyway, these are the photos I took there.

The right row (front to back): Felice, Li-Yenn
There was suppose to be another room that was haunted by Helen, the daughter. But of course, we didn't see anything, go figure. *rolls eyes*
After all that, we continued our joueney to Lumut, where we checked in to one of the most horrid hotels I've ever been in. We spent tthe rest of the day swimming, playing majong in our hotel room and watching a P. Ramlee show (there was nothing else on =.='').
Day 2:(Pangkor)
We took a ship to Pangkor Island the next morning. My dad's friend was in Ipoh that day so he tagged along with us. =)
Soon, we reached the island. Uncle Lee was our "tour guide". We told him we wanted to go to the beach, so since we had no car, we had to walk there. We kept walking and walking for almost 30 minutes but we never got there, so then we stopped to ask for directions, turns out we went the wrong way. =.='' So we walked back to town. The men, namely, my dad, Uncle Lee, Uncle Wong and Nick (not that I consider him a man O.o) decided to go mountain biking, while the rest of us went to the beach. We took the tour since we can stop when ever and where ever we want, and we can stay for as long as we wanted. And we finally made it to the beach.

Candid shots.=)
The beach was super relaxing. My sisters, Felice and Kim were playing in the sea water but I just laid back and read Eclipse, again. =) I don't really like the sea water. Sometimes the salt makes me itchy or gives me a rash. T.T
After visiting the rest of the tourist attractions around the island, we met up with men and went back to Lumut. The rest of the day went almost the same as yesterday, play majong and eat dinner. Lolz.
Day 3: (Ipoh)
We checked out of the hotel the next morning. Since we it was on the way, we decided to have a nice lunch in Ipoh and while we were there. The adults dropped us kids off at the bowling alley while they went shopping for a chicken or something like that. O.o Unfortunately, they took the cameras with them so no pictures. After bowling, we walked around in the shopping center. And guess what I bought....
P.S the songs rock, so go get it!!
And just to prove that it is original...
Well that's all for my Lumut/Pangkor trip. =)
