book of the day

Okay!! So today I just wanna introduce to you one of the handful of books that I think are timeless classics.

And no, it's not Twilight cause you all know that i know that you know that we all know that everyone else knows that Twilight is just a fad.

Sorry Twilighters, it's the truth.

Don't get me wrong. I like Twilight as much as the next person (Edward!!!) but that's the hard truth.

Deal with it.

So, anyway here it is:

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
Mark Haddon

(Ignore that book club sticker)

This one is definitely a timeless classic. And it's really cute too. =)

It's about this boy, who is autistic, and he decides to write a book! So he tries to make it a detective novel cause he says that fiction is stupid cause the authors talk about things that has never happened. Which is kinda ironic since this story is fiction. Haha. He starts with writing about the case he wants to investigate, which involves his neighbor's dog who was murdered with a garden fork. So then he sets off to find the murderer cause he really liked that dog.

Anyway, lotsa other things happen in the story but I can't tell you all of it cause then where's the fun in that?

Long story short, it's an awesome story and you guys should go and get the book or you could lend it from me! =)

And this concludes my new segment called, "Tomorrow's Classics" =) (like the name??)

Get that BOOK!!!! =)
